Okay, so my journey is not geared towards walking miles, but climbing a bunch of staircases. Hi, my name is Ashley and I am a freelance writer. I just recently started going to the gym, even though I’ve always struggled with my weight and fitness.

For as long as I can remember, NYC has been a part of my life. I live in Pennsylvania, but my heart is in NYC.

Last year, I first saw that The Vessel in Hudson Yards was a thing through someone I follow on Instagram. I went to my favorite city with a friend over the summer, and on the bus tour around the city, the tour guide mentioned the Vessel. Fast forward a few months, it came up in a dream.

After all of this, I decided that I want to challenge myself and climb the Vessel. Staircases have never been my thing, but I am going to work on conquering them so I can achieve my dream.
